Vintage c1930s Art Deco Bentwood Rocking Chair Banana Halabala Style

Superb art deco banana rocking chair. Lovely rocking armchair in overall good condition for its age. You may wish to refurbish but we had it covered with a throw and loved it as it is. Priced to reflect its rarity and condition. Good bits: very comfortable, rocker works well. Super-stylish art deco design, similar to halabala's style. All original including wood and springs. Solid frame underneath. Very rare, not seen another like this with the jointed arms. Less good bits: fabric has a few minor marks, one of which is shown next to a pound coin for scale. It is also a little worn in patches, but only the top of the fabric, it's certainly not bare. Wooden arms have some marks as shown, and move a little bit. But the overall frame is solid, it just creaks as it rocks (which is authentic therefore probably a good bit!) Back slouches to one side as shown in photo. This is unnoticeable when in use as that part is not upright. In fact I only noticed it when I came to take photos! Collection from ox14. Please see our other listings for more eclectic items.
