MONTEREAU Set of 8 old dessert plates in Opaque blue earthenware - ca.1820-1830

This superb and rare series of 8 dessert plates is made of montereau earthenware and dates from the 19th century. It is a table service marked "montereau france". In opaque earthenware, this model is glazed with a beautiful pastel blue glaze. Very sober, it is a model from the restoration period (1820-1830) developed by montereau before its merger with the creil factory, therefore before 1840. These plates measure 19.5 cm in diameter. In good general condition, I note traces of use and covering defects on the back - 3 plates have chips. The rest of the service (plates, shaped pieces) is also available. A timeless service, created two centuries ago, carefully preserved and reached today in beautiful condition...
