Umbrella stand in brass and cast iron, Gandry Fils, painted white

Umbrella stand in gilded brass repainted white, cast iron base bearing the gandry fils n°1 brand, vintage late 19th century. In very good condition, with fine shapes, it recalls the turned wooden furniture very fashionable at that time. The base is hollow and nicely cut. Very stable, it can also be a fireplace utensil holder, called a “valet or fireplace servant”. Height: 71cm width: 32cm depth: 30cm weight: 3.6kg.
