The teapot after christopher dresser around 1879, created after his trip to japan. This silver metal teapot has a diamond shape with an empty space in the center. Supported by four long feet, a pyramid at the top on the lid. The beak, square in shape, is beautifully balanced, the handle is ebony. Cash-strapped trace that I tried to show in the photos (sold in state) Height. 18 cm and width. Two inches. Wonderful piece to collect or use. Christopher dresser (1834 - 1904) One of the most important british designers of the victorian era. His creations cover much of the decorative arts.
