Vintage american toy in the shape of a donkey, 1960s

Very decorative toy from the 60's in the shape of a donkey. This rig was manufactured in aluminum by the american company gametime (litchfield, michigan, usa). The stamp of this manufacturer is printed in the toy. The item has signs of wear that contribute to a beautiful patina. However, these signs of wear are not disturbing, so no dents or tears, just scratches. These so-called 'saddle mates' were placed on a large spring so that children could swing back and forth. In addition to the donkey, there were also other animals such as the elephant, hippo, rabbit, etc. Very decorative in an (industrial) interior, shop design or children's room! Gametime was founded in 1929 in litchfield, michigan. Fifty years later they moved to fort payne, alabama and the company is still active today.
