Great piece from the early twentieth century, it is from the renowned chamotte series by gunnar nylund for the prestigious and oldest european ceramic house, rörstrand sweden 1930´s. Internationally recognized for designing very tactile pieces, of modernist aesthetics, timeless, with soft glazes. Its original texture makes this a particularly tactile piece. Its roughness and enamel give it distinction and personality. The size of this piece corresponds to the intermediate of the three sizes created. Its aesthetics reminiscent of the fur, wool, of a Scandinavian sheep. Its condition is excellent despite its age, 92 years. Its base shows the seal of authenticity, the crown of the Rörstrand House and the signature of its author. It presents some small defects typical of the manufacture in chamotte.
