Antique draughts game, the travellers

This victorian draughts set would help while a while the time on a long journey, as the printed label suggests, showing a couple on board a train. The turned ivory draughts are kept in place by sitting on copper pins in the centre of each square. The case is cardboard decorated with embossed patterned paper with a pullout drawer for the board. The board is printed with the registration number of 10419 giving a date of 1884. Some edge wera to box, overall very good to excellent condition. It measures 13.5 cm wide, 13.5 cm deep, 1.5 cm high.
