3256 - 3257 – Large 19th century Legras Calcutta vase From the end of the 19th century, sold individually, this large vase in good condition in enameled blown glass from the Verreries & Cristalleries de Saint Denis Pantin and Quatre Chemins reuniones, whose director at the The 27-year-old is the master glassmaker François Théodore Legras (1839 -1916). Unsigned but listed and named "Calcutta" in the book titled "François Théodore Legras artistic and popular French glasswork" by Michel and Vitrat from 2012 page 260. Ovoid-shaped vase with collar neck with antique green background with heavily enamelled decoration of poppies. Height 312 x diameter at the highest 122 mm. Weight 750 g. Very careful and tracked shipping. For information, another similar vase, slightly smaller visible in the photos, is on sale in my store for the person who would like to have a pair.
