Oil painting on canvas on the panel. In an original period setting. Carl oscar christian larsson (august 1, 1887 – 1962) was a swedish typographer, painter and draughtsman. He was the son of the director axel fredrik larsson and anna kristina persson and married 1914–1928 to elisabeth billsten and from 1929 to inga amalia ivarsson. Larsson first trained as a typographer and later studied at malmö technical vocational school 1910–1914 and during study trips to denmark and germany. Separately, he exhibited in lund, stockholm and malmö and he participated in group exhibitions with skånes konstförening since 1916. His art consists of self-portraits, harbour motifs, naturalistically held landscapes and streetscapes from lund, malmö, copenhagen and roskilde. Larsson is represented with a drawing at uppsala university library.
