Okinawa shamisen / sanshin. Traditional instrument of japanese quality (also exists in china) of the family of lutes and banjos. 3 strings - played with gut strings (originally) or nylon. - currently nylon ropes. The tuning fork is adjustable via the piece located above the neck (see photos), which allows different tunings. Handle an solid mahogany, case and back in authentic boa skin.
