Vintage 70s desk - wood and chrome metal

Superb large vintage desk dating from the late 70s, in the style of Florence Knoll's creations. Elegant structure combining quality wood and chrome metal legs, for a look that is both sober and timeless. The drawer units are placed on the central metal bar for a suspended effect. This functional desk offers three drawers on the left and two on the right, including one designed for storing hanging files. Opening from the side of the fronts (no handles), some drawers offer a slight resistance (can be lightly sanded on the inside for easier opening) Materials: wood (probably walnut or teak veneer), chrome metal. Storage: 5 very deep drawers (3 on the left, 2 on the right including 1 for files), removable wooden dividing boards (one missing fastener), 2 plastic organizers that sit on the edges of the drawers. Top and boxes in very good general condition, very beautiful patina. Some visible pitting on the chrome feet, including glides. Slight snag on the bottom of the large right drawer (see photo).
