“Seconda” chair by Mario Botta for Alias. 1980s. Structure in black lacquered steel, seat in perforated sheet metal with backrest made up of two cylindrical elements in black polyurethane. Very good condition. The Swiss architect and designer Mario Botta is particularly recognized for his mastery of geometric and cylindrical shapes, his work with metal, and more particularly chrome. Among its most legendary pieces of furniture: the Prima, Seconda, Quarto and Quinta chairs as well as the Zéfiro pendant light.
