Round sewing box made of vintage braided straw

Vintage 60s/70s. Small round sewing box in braided straw with raffia floral decoration. Composed of: 2 handles. 2 hinges and wood shuttle closure and wicker link. Cardboard bottom. Interior covered and striped with red fabric and lace as well as the lid with a roundel cushion for needles. To be diverted into a jewelry box, empty pockets... Condition: bears slight traces of wear and use on the outside. The interior has some small stains especially at the bottom and drip prints at the edge and on the lid without affecting the aesthetics of the object. Small lack of fabric at the edge (see photo) The raffia is also fraying discreetly. Size: H11 cm X d 20 cm. Weight: 279 grams.
