1980s Pair of chairs b y Ake Axelsson for Gärsnäs, Sweden

A pair of chairs designed by ake axelsson and manufactured by gärsnäs in sweden around 1980. Made of black wood in a nice, minimalist style. The chairs have a seating cushion that is upholstered in leather on one side, and suede on the other side (both black). The cushions can be placed either way in accordance with the users preference. This makes these modern chairs a versatile and appealing addition to the decor! They have a unique scandinavian appeal with a nice elegant touch. Sold as a set – the price is for both chairs together. The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The leather has some aging as reflected in the photos.
