Mid-Century Bubble Glass Wall Light/Sconce from Limburg, Germany, 1960s

Stunning mid-century modern wall light/sconce from limburg (germany, 1960s). Black square "iron" stripes inlaid in thick hand blown transparent glass with small air bubbles encased in the glass. Minimal & geometric design and high quality craftsmanship. Casts a wonderful light (see pictures). Re-wired (hardwired) and ready to be used (compatible in europe, uk, us, etc.). Requires 1x e14 light bulb, max 60 w. Led compatible. Height: 24 cm; width: 15 cm; depth (from wall): 12 cm. Very good vintage condition, light wear consistent with age and use. Limburg manufactured many lamps which became design classics, such as the famous bubble glass lighting by helena tynell.
