Antique hatherley patent lattistep

Hatherley lattistep step ladder, designed and patented in the late 19th century this elegant ladder is becoming quite rare to find, particularly the 7-step version.it is made from pine and ash wood and has a lovely patina. The ladder has a hatherley patent mark (see photograph). This antique item has wear consistent with age and use, although not affecting the function. These ladders would possibly have originally been used in a library. Good for the library and great for displays, as a plant stand or could be used in the kitchen/bathroom with your bath towels placed upon the steps, what ever you decide they will always look stunning. Size: Height: unopened ca. 204 cm, opened 180cm with a span of 125cm at base. Width: at the top ca 39 cm, at the bottom is 55 cm. Each step is 12cm deep, step width varies from bottom 40 cm until top 32 cm.
