This ashtray comes from the cristallerie lorraine whose origins date back to 1925 with the foundation of the cristallerie de lemberg by théodore heitzman. By 1949, all the department stores in paris such as le bon marché, galeries lafayette and la samaritaine, were part of the clientele of this manufacture, renowned for its high-end crystal. This ashtray is free-form. Its thickness and volutes allow an interesting play of light. It will become a pocket tray or original decorative object.
