Description
This superb and rare series of 12 soup plates is made of montereau earthenware and dates from the 19th century. It is a table service marked "montereau". In opaque earthenware, this model is glazed with a beautiful pastel blue glaze. Very sober, it is a model from the restoration period (1820-1830) developed by montereau before its merger with the creil factory, therefore before 1840. These plates measure 24 cm in diameter. In good general condition, I point out traces of use and defects in the covering - 5 plates have chips. The rest of the service (plates, shaped pieces) is also available.
